21 Days Morocco Tour – Imperial Cities, Atlantic Coast, Lost Kasbahs, Sahara Oasis & Atlas Mountains

This 21-days Morocco tour will take you on an immersive journey across the country, allowing you to experience almost everything Morocco has to offer.

We’ll begin in Asilah, a coastal gem with a relaxed atmosphere, enjoying the Atlantic Ocean and its ancient sea ramparts. Heading south, we’ll visit the Lixus Roman Ruins, then explore Chefchaouen, known for its charming blue-washed Medina. We’ll continue south to Rabat, home to exquisite monuments and the 12th-century Old Medina, followed by a quick stop in Casablanca to admire the grand Hassan II Mosque.

Continuing along the coast, we’ll visit El Jadida, famous for its 15th-century Portuguese fortifications, before heading southeast to Marrakesh, the lively “Red City” with its never-ending street markets. Next, we’ll reach Essaouira, where you can unwind in an artistic tea house, listening to traditional Gwana music.

Venturing deeper into Morocco, we’ll explore Tafraoute, a peaceful Anti-Atlas village surrounded by oases and olive trees, then visit Taroudant, offering breathtaking views of the High Atlas Mountains. Our journey leads us to the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortified village with incredible desert landscapes. Continuing south, we’ll navigate the desert tracks to Zagora, explore Tamegroute and its underground village, and visit the stunning Tinfou Dunes.

Heading into the Sahara Desert, we’ll drive through Dadès Valley and the dramatic Gorges du Todra, then cruise into Erfoud and Rissani, where we’ll visit a traditional market before reaching the breathtaking Red Dunes of Erg Chebbi for a true desert experience.

Our route then takes us north through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Imilchil, known for its spectacular lakes and rugged mountain landscapes. We’ll continue to Meknès, where we’ll explore the magnificent Palace of Sultan Moulay Ismail, then visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before arriving in Fès, the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco.
